Sutton Capital Holdings invested an undisclosed amount to help launch Journey in July 2024. As part of the creation and concept, including some great early investors/advisors such as the OG influencer “The Points Guy” himself, Brian Kelly, Co-Founder of Tory Burch Chris Burch, and more…John agreed to join as CEO of Journey to guide its day-to-day operations. This role represents Mr. Sutton’s first full-time role since retiring from Red Ventures in July 2021, showing his passion and excitement for the vision and opportunity that lies ahead. Journey is creating a new category of loyalty focused on creating seamless, beautiful, guest experiences across high-touch hospitality brands while enabling those same brands to compete with the large multi-national chains.
